Hi all. I was just ordering a medic alert bracelet for my grandaughter who

has epilepsy and thought I would remind all of you how important it is to

have one.

All of us need to have one...Medic Alert is such a great organization and

they keep all of your medical history on file. They warn the medics about

intubating us and the meds we are on... Please if you haven't done this,

please do... They have really nice bracelets and necklaces now that are

attractive and run in different price ranges..

Please think about it....it could help you from having any undo complications

if the need arises.

Contact them at 1-

I ordered mine yesterday. Oh boy!LOL It will be here

before I take my trip. Thanks for keeping us all

reminded.LOL The lady I talked to after I did all the

ordering on the net told me that they would engrave it

with the Relapsing Polychondritis and Immune System

surpressed. She said I should have had one with both

of those problems especially the later. Well now I do

and thanks for nagging me! :o)

Thanks for the hint I would have been like you trying

to put it on all day and then asking Mikie to help me

later!LOL

Lots of Love

are those tax deductible? lol just wondering?

Lu the brochure states " Medic Alert is a nonprofit organization that depends

on fees and contributions to support our 24 hour Emegency Response Center " .

The Charitable Contribution is tax deductable but I don't think the

application fee or upgrade on bracelets are.

Midge, the cost is $35.00 for the first year (including the braclet)

I choose a alternate braclet so mine cost $40.00 for the first year.

after that it is $20.00 per year.they have a big and expensive line

of braclets as well as affordable braclets.

www.medicalert.org or you can call them toll free 1-

they told me it would take 7 -10 days to recieve it and i got mine

today only took 4 days after ordering. good luck........chuck Heath
