Guest guest
Hi Midge, You caught me just at the right time. I am having a flare up on both feet, my right leg, and my left hand. It'll be a miracle if I don't have to have my wedding ring cut off. Will try to explain what happens. The rhumatologist says it is part of the RP, but may not happen to everyone who has this. I get vasculitis on my feet and legs, they are painful blotches of inflamed blood vessels and they come to the surface and make bad sores that take days to clear up. I get swelling and redness on both feet and hands just like a person gets on their ears or nose. Burns like heck. Because I couldn't take the metho last night, now I am fighting this today. This can cause numbness in the feet and hands because each time it happens it messes up the nerves. Then when the flares finally settle down, my feet continue to hurt. Hope this isn't like what you have. Let me know. also has problems with her feet and has tumors in them that they are treating with cortisone. Midge, what kinds of problems are you having with your feet and hands? I > have had problems with my feet for years and have gotten worse in the last > year. My hands are starting now.... Just wondering if they were the same > problems... I do have numbness in feet and hands too. > > hugs >
