Roy, has not done anything. If you and the Foundation or this supoprt group have had problems it is because of your own doing.

As I recall I have always done what this group has asked. If finding accurate information and sharing it with the group is causing problems. Yes I'm guilty as charged.

As for trying to destroy or take over how? By answering publically questions that are possed to the group? Because I sent a couple of get well cards? Because I have offered countless links to medical sites that had info on RP and its assocated diseases. Because I have beeen researching RP since 1987 when I was first dxed with this disease and have extensive links to the medical and research communittee and used them and then shared them with the group. Please Roy!

If doing what I have been asked to do by Angie was wrong. OK then I'm wrong. As I recall I helped Angie write the mission statement for the Foundation. She and I spent many hours working out the different aspects that would be good for the Foundation and what the research dept. would entail. I also remember a lengthy phone conversation with you as to what the research dept should be.

As for your Foundation. Your board replaced me as the research chair by a Dr. Carolyn Pang that just disappeared. My question that I asked W. was if we board knew that she is the was the same person that she was claiming to be. BTW has anyone heard of her since Dec. of 2000. No, I would not work under her. But, then again that isn't undermining anything. There are legal issues involved. This is not causeing problems this is saying hay have you thought of this! I sent coutless suggestion regarding this to W.

I worked on the Foundations newsletter. To the best of my knowlegde Elaine and I didn't have any problems. Are first newsletter was nice. Elaine did a great job.

W. asked me to chair the Fundraising section. After coming up with a layout on the items that would needed to move forward with this. W. asked if she could get back to me after the next board meeting that was March 3rd. Still haven't heard from her. These questions where very simple, who are the exective board members, address, phone number, copy of the bi-laws and a copy of the 501© 3 tax stutus. All are a must have if you are raising funds for any orginazation.

Since these questions could not be answered I could not agree to help in this postion. That isn't undermining or causing problems it is clearly stating, you are not ready to move forward.

As for The Support Report. W. knew that I had excepted the publishership of this newsletter prior to her announcement of the Foundations legal establishement. We even discuused whether The Support Report would be blended into the Foundation. Way back in Oct-Nov. on 2000. We decided not to join the two. Why, because it was not in the best interest of the Support Report and its readers. W. gave me permission to announce the Support Report to the support group. The statement was very clear. We where seperate but that I supported the fine efforts of both the support group and the Foundation. W. also autherized a press release which was printed in the first edition of the Support Report regarding the Foundation. Which was distributed to over 500 people.

I have asked for furthure press relases or updates for the next several Support Report and have been told no the "Board" did not want to be involved.

The Support Report is an established long term newsletter that originally started in the UK. I have belonged to this group since 1997. Which precedes anything that you, Angie this support group or the Foundation has done. And even prior to the starting of any of these other groups.

I am not a threat. Nor have I every caused problems. If asking about legal issues is a problem then I will assure you that yes I have caused problems there. But these were posted in private to the board members and not openly to the group. Pitty you and a few choose people have not extended this courtisy to me.

Rutledge.

has just wanted trouble everytime she has become involved with anything either with the group or the foundation. We have been putting a lot of effort into getting the foundation going and it is continueally undermined by several individuals. I have been biting my tongue on this, These individuals have been warned in the past about causing problems such as this. It appears as if we are having an attempt to completly crash the foundation and make the support report the main group. We are setting up the foundation as a Non-profit group to benefit everyone. This is not an easy process. We are very grateful for all of those willing to support us. So, lets quit the bullshit and the talking behind everyone's backs and get this all out in the open. I do not see any reason that both the foundation and the Support report cannot exist side by side. We are on the same team, or we should be. Roy
