there's a hole in my mouth

Hi. I had my Leforte surgery last Friday for the purpose of

surgically assisted rapid palatal expansion. The doctors said it went

well, and I'm almost feeling like myself again (the last few days

have felt weird though, maybe the meds?) Well, anyway, I rinse my

mouth from time to time with this saline solution they gave me, and

water seeps through my gums into my sinuses and out my nose. I guess

the hole should fill up eventually? I mentioned it to them on the

phone Monday. They said if I'm still having the problem Friday at my

checkup to tell them. I'm just wondering if this is normal.
