Guest guest
Barb, Did you see Red Rock Canyon just west of Denver when you were there? Some of my favorite places were the sonian (especially Natural History, the National Zoo, Air & Space, and American History), The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI, and Monticello. Then both Charlotte and I liked San Diego (and shopping in Tiajuana). The National Parks, we saw Shenandoah, Zion, Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon together. I have seen Rocky Mountain and a few others by myself and flown over Monument Valley and Yosemite. I still want to see Yosemite and Yellowstone at least. The Monuments here in Washington, DC always give me a feeling of history (and I used to walk up and down the Washington Monument and look at the dedicated stones - before graffitti and terrorists). We both loved Las Vegas also about 1981 when we went. We loved to go to Manhatten for a weekend and catch a couple of shows and some shopping. Oops, almost forgot Niagra Falls, Nope we did not make it there until 1966 - we honeymooned in Atlantic City in 1958 which was a wonderful time in Atlantic City - before Casinos. Just beach, boardwalk, the Steel Pier, speedboat rides, etc. And this year, seeing the east coast of Australia visiting friends from the list. There is much to do and see in this old world of ours. Just not enough time (and money ) Then there is the care and concern shown on this list. Wouldn't the world be a better place if everyone could accept each other as this list does? We really don't care about religion, or political differences as much as just trying to help each other. Hugs to all, Bill Werre ================================================== Barb wrote: > Never can remember how that is spelled but I have several of the dolls. > > Went to the doll museum in Missouri a couple of times.
