Guest guest
Hi Elaine: Barb wrote this to you >>.Elaine: We too used suppositories quite often for Ken. But I always bought the glycerin ones until the Hospice nurse told me how much better the Dulcolax ones were. Be sure you get them. the difference was amazing. Barbara <<<< and I just wanted to put a little note to this. The Dulcolax that she is telling you about is made out of Bisacodyl USP and it comes in a box, not a jar like the other suppositories do. (Barb and I both found out the hard way about this looking all over the place for them in jar's ) ) Also I get them at Rite Aid in the Rite aid brand same thing , half the price. Guest guest
Thanks so much, Vera. You are always so very helpful and so giving with all of your information and knowledge! I was so disappointed that I couldn't open the pictures of you in Las Vegas - I don't know why I couldn't - sometimes the pictures open right up, other times not. My best to you - Elaine Grimmesey
Guest guest
Belinda, There are no stupid questions...we're all new to this and I was glad to hear of the Ducolax suppositories as I may need to get them for Tom if the stool softner/laxitive pills quit working. Take care, all. Sandy
Guest guest
Vera, Thank you and Barb for this information. I didn't know where you could buy them or if you needed a perscription for them. I know absolutely nothing about suppositories so I am sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. Is there a recommended time to keep them in before going to the bathroom? Guest guest
Hi Belinda: I know I put something in the posting awhile back about everything to so with suppositories and etc, but right now I can't find it. I do know it said something about keeping them in the frige, but that's about all I can remember right now. It's late and I need to go to bed, will look more tomorrow for it.
