Guest guest
I dont know where else to post this. All the way in the back of my mouth on the left side it really hurts. I don't know if it is the spot where my wisdom tooth would be or the part of my cheek all the way in the back. I dont know the exact spot but just the area back there is so painful that I cant even eat. I am on a very soft/liquid diet like I was with my surgery. There is a spot on my lower jaw that hurts from this and the TMJ pain too. But I had all of my wisdom teeth out with my surgery which was 9 months ago!! What do you think this could be??? Guest guest
I'd call your surgeon and ask, or your dentist, or general physician. Another possibility, my mom just had a yeast infection in the mouth, and her whole mouth was so sore she couldn't eat hard things. Apparently she got that by being dehydrated (long story, taking care of my dad who had emerg surgery). Anyway, it took antibiotics to clear it up. You can try rinsing with Amosan, which might help. It's a powder than you mix with water, tastes pretty good (minty) and is available in the drugstore mouthwash section. > I dont know where else to post this. > All the way in the back of my mouth on the left side it really > hurts. Guest guest
Sorry... I don't have your answer. But what you need is a doc who does. Your general dentist. Your ortho, or best of all, your surgeon, or someone in his practice. Call tonight, or if the pain is such that you can wait until tomorrow, or if you have painkillers available. Or go to an emergency room. Pain, I think, is a signal that something is bad wrong. You need relief, and you need to find out what's going on. Guest guest
I guess you're right. I'm going to Europe in 10 days for 3 weeks so i don't think I want to leave without knowing what is wrong > > I dont know where else to post this. > > All the way in the back of my mouth on the left side it really > > hurts.
