I know what you mean, Vera. I took my scooter down the street to get my hair

cut. Jim said he would take a nap, put the portable phone in my basket and

said " call me when you get back so I can help you in " .---

That doesn't work, you can't call yourself without it kicking into the phone

mail. Thank goodness for a yappy little dog to wake him up. Dodie in MO

That's the second reason I invested in a cell phone. No matter where I am,

I can call. Even if it's in front of my own house.

Does that mean you didn't take a cell phone but your regular phone?

Thanks for the big smile! Yes, thank goodness you have a yappy little

dog to wake him up! It must be wonderful though to be able to take

your scooter and go to get your hair cut. You must live in town. Do

you have stores close by that you can do that also? If so that is

wonderful. It is almost worth it to move to town but as busy as mine

is getting I would get run over first. The only thing I can get to

now are dogs, cats, goats, horses, and maybe to the cows!
