Guest guest
I am writing this to update the new members about our RP Foundation. We have started a RP foundation and are awaiting the Tax Exempt Status from the IRS. As soon as this is complete, we will be able to go ahead and start the fundraising and making the brochures to a pass out to the public and the medical professions. Our main goal is " To provide support to Relapsing Polychondritis sufferers, their friends and family members in the form of educational material and promote awareness by distribution of educational materials to health care providers. " Any one wishing to make a contribution may and you may join the foundation and receive a newsletter for a $15 per year contribution. Of course we will take any amount that you may wish to offer. LOL We are all really excited about this Foundation... I really think we can make a difference and help people get an earlier diagnosis...You can all be in on this in the beginning.. Let's make it OUR foundation and Make that difference...The support group is such a big family that has provided for each other at their time of need... Think what the Foundation can do at a National Level... Any one wishing to make a contribution may make their checks or money orders out to " RP Foundation " and send it to: RP Foundation c/o Colloran Membership Dept 775 Bounty Place Manteca, CA 95337 In regards to the RP support group (which is separate from the foundation): We are also planning a reunion on Labor Day weekend of this year in Tulsa, OK For more information on this, please contact Heidi Main at Heidi@...
