Hi Vera.

How was Vegas? Was your premonition right?

My computer crashed big time this week. Took a month's worth of work

with it - billing and all. Pretty thorough at least :-)

But, that's nothing... also found out that the work we're doing now -

won't be reimbursed until (probably) October or November. Long

story, but... suffice it to say - my work is funded by the

government :-)

Good thing money is not an essential thing to living - right? :-)

Eyes freaking. Going to sign off. Eyes seem to be really

regressing. Other things too. At least I've hardly thrown up today

(so far)... got diarrhea instead :-)

If it's not one thing (end)... it's the other (end) :-)

You need to try cutting your hours and/or getting a siesta time each day

to re-charge. All symptoms get worse when you are over tired, often a hour

or two nap will re-charge you.

) So you are facing the old end of fiscal year government budget blues

) I remember that I often faced that problem - they give you a budget

and you plan for that amount of money, then about April - the politicians

take back some of your planned budget money (one year 30%) - by August

you are broke and the pollies then complain about "lazy government workers".

The real "LAZY government workers" are politicians who don't give real workers

their budgets before the fiscal year starts so they can plan thier work load

for the year. Can you imagine an auto manufacturer telling it's designers

to build a car without knowing what price range it would fit?

Hope your salary did not go to drop an extra bomb and you get your pay. Wonder

if Bush robbed to pay ) His dad once gave me $487,000 ($475,000

was salaries) in October and six months later cut it back to $332,000 after

I had committed to several jobs and deadlines (and spent $247,000 of my

budgeted money). I lost my bonus because I had to lay off half

my staff and could not meet my deadlines. But he blamed us "lazy government

workers" )
