Guest guest
Hi : Was wondering where you were. Sorry to see all your hard work go up in smoke. ( The trip to Vegas was nice, just shorter then we planned. Fred didn't sleep well in the bed, so was getting him up more there ,then here at home. I talked to a couple when I was taking Fred's things to the car. She was in a w/c and had diabetes. She said she couldn't sleep in the bed's away from home and ended up getting a chair from camping world that will recline back and has a headrest attached to it, for about $150 , but that's what she sleeps in when they go places. She said that she can get up out of it because when she comes up , it goes back to the sitting. She sleeps well in it and she was a good size woman maybe 250 to 300 lbs. Trips are getting harder on Fred, so we won't be doing to many of them anymore. We did meet D.Ray and Vivian, had chocolate ) I didn't have to make beds and we ate out . What more could I ask for? Take Care Vera Hi Vera. How was Vegas? Was your premonition right? My computer crashed big time this week. Took a month's worth of work with it - billing and all. Pretty thorough at least :-) But, that's nothing... also found out that the work we're doing now - won't be reimbursed until (probably) October or November. Long story, but... suffice it to say - my work is funded by the government :-) Good thing money is not an essential thing to living - right? :-) Eyes freaking. Going to sign off. Eyes seem to be really regressing. Other things too. At least I've hardly thrown up today (so far)... got diarrhea instead :-) If it's not one thing (end)... it's the other (end) :-) Catcha later. (Long as you're not as heavy as Fred :-) Take Care.
Guest guest
HI BILL. ACTUALLY, THE MONEY WOES HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MONIES. HAS TO DO WITH STATE STUFF... STATE BLEW IT HERE - AT LEAST IN OUR END. SPENT MONEY WITHOUT HAVING THE FUNDING TO DO IT. NOW, ENTIRE STATE BUDGET IS FRIED - AND THEY'RE CUTTING EVERYONE - AND I DO MEAN EVERYONE. WE USUALLY GET CUT - NO BIGGIE - BUT THEY'RE CUTTING MORE - AND EVERYONE. IN FACT, FISCAL YEAR RUNS JULY THROUGH JUNE... GUESS WHAT THOUGH? I'VE HEARD RUMOR THAT THIS YEAR... WE MAY BE OUT OF MONEY IN OCTOBER! PRETTY EARLY! MAYBE THAT'S WHY THEY WANT TO DEFER PAYMENT TO US :-) TO ME... MUCH OF THE PAST YEAR HAS BEEN FILLED WITH HYPOCRACY... ON THE ONE HAND, THE GOVERNMENT SAYS THAT SPENDING IS UP... BUT THEY SAY TAXES ARE DOWN... A FISCAL IMPOSSIBILITY. ON THE ONE HAND, THEY SAY TOURISM IS DOWN... BUT THEY ALSO SAY THAT STATE TAXES ARE DOWN... WELL - IF PEOPLE DON'T TRAVEL, BUT THEY STILL SPEND THE MONEY - JUST LOCALLY - THEN HOW CAN LOCAL TAXES BE DOWN? GUESS IT IS POSSIBLE, AS TOURISM INCOME IS TAXED AT A HIGHER RATE... BUT SURE SEEMS FISHY. THEY HAD TO ASK FOR DONATIONS THIS YEAR - TO KEEP THE PUBLIC POOLS OPEN IN TULSA! YET THEY'RE GIVING CARS AWAY - AT 0% INTEREST AND NO PAYMENTS FOR A YEAR (JUST LIKE FURNITURE AND OTHER PLEASANTRIES :-). WELL, BETTER GET OFF MY... NAW... SOAPBOX SILLY :-) CATCHA LATER. Guest guest
, Without getting into the joys of political budgeting ... I do agree with Bill about asking for the siesta time. Where may then be the problem. I had my neurologist write that up as a letter for my employer. It did the trick, as it is a resonable accommodation. My employer likes the arrangement, as I can work longer and more consistenly when I get the chance to recharge on those very bad days. Also, if you are extremely fatigued during the day, PLEASE look into a sleep study. Tired during the day can equate to poor sleep. MSA seems to cause poor sleep problems Everything from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), to central sleep apnea (CSA), to periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD). to REM Behavior Disorder, to insomnia, to ... You get the idea. Unfortunately, poor sleep acts as a stress for your body. When I sleep poorly my symptoms magnify to the point I am not able to work. It makes a difference to get your sleep under control. Just a thought for you. Regards, =jbf= B. Fisher
Guest guest
Thanks . I'll pass this on to my internist. I had mentioned to her about a sleep study earlier but couldn't remember why :-) I'll mention this to her next time I see her - if I remember. I do take siestas whenever I perceive the need (and am able). Most days I'm able to do so no problem, as I'm virtually my own boss. However, there are days when I have meetings and no chance to do so. Thanks again for the input. > , > > Without getting into the joys of political budgeting ...
