I know he hasn't been on Starlix long, but how is he doing with it? I'm

starting on it tomorrow and REALLY hoping it will help. Otherwise, it looks

like I'll be going on 4 - 5 insulin shots per day. I don't want that!!!

PLEASE keep me posted about this medication and Pete's results.

I am a fairly new member of the group. My son is also a diabetic. He had

an appointment today and the nurse practitioner changed him to a new

insulin. This one is a 24 hr acting insulin that does not have the

spikes in performance. It sounds to me almost like a timed release type

of insulin. If you are taking 4 - 5 shots a day you might check into

it.
