I'm completely in agreement with Ray in with paying taxes for our health care system in Canada. I do not want it turned over to private healthcare providers. There are certain fundamental needs of citizens in modern society, we have the ability to provide it (in the case of healthcare) for all citizens in Canada, and the federal government should be responsible for ensuring certain standards of care are provided by the provinces.
