Guest guest
I have also been debating the Netscape/Explorer question. Someone suggested that I use Eudora Light (available free as a download). Has anyone tried that and is it any better than the others? I have not really had any recent problems but Netscape 4.7 gave me problems in the past so I assume something will start up again. Guest guest
Janet, Netscape and Internet explorer are " browsers " which have email capability. They help you " surf " the internet. Eudora is strictly an email program. The BIG problem is that newer versions of the same program (especially Netscape) do not automatically load your old features such as addresses and bookmarks into the new program - which is a pain. I guess they figure everyone will pay then $60 per hour to learn to find and load them. I have found (accidently and do not know how) my old bookmarks and addresses, but now it adds every email address I get. Stupid computers! Guest guest
Hi Bill, Thanks for the clarification. So I guess that leaves me with the Netscape/IE decision. I think I'll wait for trouble to start again before I hassle with it anymore. There are enough other things to deal with.
