Guest guest
Well, happened again today... First, in the past week, I've had routine blood glucose readings which range from the 40s to 140s. There is absolutely no pattern. I can go NPO and have it raise or lower by mega points. Same if I eat. Sometimes it goes up, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it goes down. Just wondered if others have similar problems? Today, I was feeling weird. I then took my glucose reading, and it was 75. An hour later, I was not feeling any better - worse in fact, so I checked it again. It was 112. That is almost a 40 point jump - with NPO - NPO all day in fact (and please don't jump me for that - I have massive problems eating - when I do - it comes up - and often ruins the day - for example, Monday, I ate 3 meals - and spent virtually the entire day - either eating - or hovering over a toilet - until the wee hours of the morning). After a 1 1/2 hour nap (see Bill - I do take Siesta's - and this one was not one I wanted to take... but my body insisted, and so did my wife - and as she drives me everywhere - well... I kinda didn't have a choice in the matter :-) Anyway, after that nap, it was back down to 76. And... now... for someone who is typically cold - no matter what the temp... I'm frying. Defintely seems I have thermal regulation problems.
