Hi Beth.

Please do share the results.

Any input appreciated.

Near as I can tell, in my case, they have just written it off as

another unexplainable thing. You see, without B deficiency or iron

deficiency, I'm not sure there is anything I can take

for " treatment " . Before all this hit me, I wasn't even aware you

could be anemic without an iron or B vitamin deficiency. Live and

learn. Anyway, thanks for posting the results. What indications

does your hubby have of anemia?

When the doctor checked his chart he realized that he's had it since

1999 but nothing was ever done about it! I'm now waiting for results

of a second round of tests trying to determine the cause of the

anemia. After the doctor figures that out, we can begin some type of

treatment. I will share the results with you if you'd like.

If I ever hear back from the doctor I will be sure to let you know what I find

out.

My husband does not eat properly. He loves donuts and pasta and avoids meats

(except for an occasional steak), fruits and vegetables. I guess that should

have been an indication that he could be anemic. When he went to see the doctor

for a physical one of the blood tests they did was for anemia. After they

determined that he had anemia, he went back for more blood work to determine

what was causing the anemia. That's the blood work that I'm still waiting for

the results. The doctor did mention the possibility of him needing B12 shots,

but wanted to do more tests first. I was surprised to find out that he has been

anemic since 1999 and nothing has ever been done about it! I'm certainly glad

that I insisted he switch doctors.

I will keep you posted!
