Guest guest
Saline Rinse is just salt water and yeah its easy to make. Just stir a little salt in some water (warm or room temp). It shouldn't taste too salty, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt if it does anyway. It would probably help. I'm not an expert on how it works, but my mom has always had me rinse with salt water to get rid of any sores in my mouth since I was little. My take on it is this (and anyone can feel free to laugh at my explaination): I think that when you create a salty state in your mouth, the cells release fluids to bring that state back to normal. (Like when you pour salt on a slug) So it basically gently dries up any excess puss or swelling. Does anyone else remember thier biology? Perhaps I've gotten it wrong, but its important to helping gums heal. That I know for sure! > What does the saline rinse do? Could I make my own?
