Guest guest Posted September 7, 2002 Report Share Posted September 7, 2002 Dick, re: NECK pain, my wife also has OPCA, her left side neck muscles have contracted to the point if we dont prop her up, her left ear will touch her left shoulder..the neck muscles on the right side are so streched they cramp up..weve tried neck brackes of all sorts, to no avail, eiether too soft or the hard ones push her jaw out of line.. since she spends most of the day in bed, we just prop her up with pillows as best we can.. her left hand is contracting worse ... so the botox injections go there first, and in 3 month maybe the neck.. to try and relax them.
