Guest guest
I have been getting a lot of tingling/weird feeling in my lips & chin from last few days. My lips starts hurting if I go out when the wind hits it. I am california & its not so cold either but I have lost 1 or 2 layers of skin on my lips during/after surgery. Are your lips in bad shape too inside-out? I am using the lip balm/vaseline. Is there any thing else I can apply to help the recovery of my lips? Also on my chin I get this funny feeling. Couple of days back I used to confuse it with pain but now I kinda like it. I am not taking that many pain killers now-a-days. Hope everyone else is going fine... Guest guest
Hi i had this also. However I am in England - not so warm as California!! I tried different types of lip balms & creams but found my lips became swollen & tender & peeled. I found that a petroleum based cream (think it was like vaseline) the hospital gave me was the best thing. A nurse told me that the lips are quite sensitive at 1st & to use the cream she gave me. I was fine after a couple of weeks. The pain/sensation in your chin is probably just the feeling coming back. It is strange but you will get used to it. > I have been getting a lot of tingling/weird feeling in my lips & chin > from last few days. My lips starts hurting if I go out when the wind > hits it. Guest guest
Dunno of anything for the chin. For the lips: Aquaphor or vitamin E oil... It will get better. Honest. Guest guest
I do have to say that i am more annoyed with the numbness tingling than i thought i would be. To me it is more irritating, facially irritating than anything else. i can't describe it as a " hurt " but one of the greatest annoyances i have experienced. it is deep. i am aware of it at every second. > > I have been getting a lot of tingling/weird feeling in my lips & > chin > > from last few days. As soon as you return to your normal routine, you'll start to notice it less and less. And your body will adapt to the feeling. I still have a lot of numbness and the only time I notice it is when I shave in the morning now. The rest of the day, it's like business as usual.
