since then my mouth is being open every day a little bit more, as i

force him to.

someone can tell me what is the normal time to gain normal opening

of mouth, and what exercicies can i do if they exist, anything?

sometime i heard some very little cracks in my jaws, is this normal?

thank you to all that can help me

Your surgeon should have suggested some exercises. It's been

5 weeks for me (6 on Wednesday) since I had the surgery,

and I can open 42mm (3 fingers) tall.

I do hear some noise (like " crack " in my upper jaw). My ortho

told me it's normal. But to be honnest, I'm beginning to find

it less and less funny. It happens when I stretch, when I eat,

when I talk.

The exercise I have to do is to open my mouth, and GENTLY

help with my fingers (one hand holds the upper jaw, and the

other holds the lower jaw). GENTLY force them open, not like

to open 1 inch more, but just to stretch the muscles a bit.

At first, it didn't help much. Some days ago, however, I noticed

(and felt) my mouth opening more and more taller.

But before you start exercising your jaws, I strongly suggest

you talk with your surgeon. He or she might have something

planed for your specific case.
