hello!

thanks ray for for your message.

well, has i can see you have a great recovery, about opening your

mouth.

now i am almost about 10 weeks from my surgery, and i can only open

my mouth about one finger. my surgeon only told me to try to open my

mouth normaly, making force with my jaw's muscles, and try to

begining to eat some food like fish, to execise more that muscles.

i fill now some pain too in my lower jaw muscles, when i try to

force my mouth to open, is this normal?

about the cracks, has they appear, they disapear some time then. i'm

not worried about that.

thanks

I wouldn't call it pain, rather discomfort. Like when you work a muscle

you've not work for a certain time. If you feel pain, I'd call your surgeon.

And I don't know if 1 finger after 10 weeks is good... I was able to open

my mouth completely after the surgery, but swelling in the TMJ forced

my surgeon to shut my mouth very tight.
