Guest guest Posted July 12, 2004 Report Share Posted July 12, 2004 hello! thanks ray for for your message. well, has i can see you have a great recovery, about opening your mouth. now i am almost about 10 weeks from my surgery, and i can only open my mouth about one finger. my surgeon only told me to try to open my mouth normaly, making force with my jaw's muscles, and try to begining to eat some food like fish, to execise more that muscles. i fill now some pain too in my lower jaw muscles, when i try to force my mouth to open, is this normal? about the cracks, has they appear, they disapear some time then. i'm not worried about that. thanks p_l Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Like when you work a muscle you've not work for a certain time. If you feel pain, I'd call your surgeon. And I don't know if 1 finger after 10 weeks is good...
