Saw Foot dr today & update on Lu

August 7, 2001

Hi all, well went back to the foot dr today and he said the left foot is the

same as the right... He went over both of my MRI with 3 radiologists and

another podiatrist.. Thei tumors are pushing the muscles over to the side

and the muscle is compressing the nerves... Said if they did surgery they

would probably have to take some of the muscle out too. That will be my last

resort, but I do have to decide before my Cobra runs out... He gave me more

cort. inj. today even though they did not work last week. Next step would be

casting my feet... I didn't ask any questions today.. was in too much pain..

Will see him next Tues and ask then...

I talked to Lu today and she is still in a lot of pain... Is taking pain

pills and they are pretty much keeping her knocked out.. She is to have an

echocardiogram on Thurs I believe. Please keep her in your thoughts and

prayers..

Hope you all have a wonderful Wed... Maybe this week i can get my butt to

chat on time and not miss you all. LOL

Oh , I don't think it is your butt that is the

problem! HA! Your poor, poor feet. So sorry to hear

that you are still having such problems. When does

your Cobra run out? I'll be praying. Love, Sharon
