Guest guest
Great news !!! Happy that all is going well for you! I will be six weeks post op on Wednesday. One question . . . any residual numbness, swelling??? Best wishes to you! With regards, Dale
Guest guest
Hi all- I have not posted in quite some time. Exactly 13 weeks ago, today, I had upper/lower/genio surgery, to correct my slight under bite and slight assymetry. I must say, I can't believe that it's been over 3 months, but the good news is that I feel great and so will you. I still have my braces, which are slated to come off at the end of August/early September. I am nearly back to my full eating habbits, with the exception of hard apples, hard breads, hard candy...or pretty much anything that's difficuly to chew. I've gained back all the weight I lost post-op (approx 14 lbs) and am back to my normal habits or running, going to the gym, etc. I haven't been rollerblading or golfing yet, but I plan to in the next few weeks. I've seen my surgeon a few times and he, as well as myself and my whole family, are thrilled with the results. To all of you pre & post op-ers, just know that before you know it, the time will fly by and you will be able to resume your normal life. Best of luck to all,
Guest guest
, What a positive note, thanks. DO you have any numbness left? That is the one thing that is the biggest irritation to me. Although i am only 2.5 weeks, way behind you, it's an annoyance that's all, and i know this too shall pass. i had same surgery as you with an additional split of upper jaw to expand slightly. > Hi all- > > I have not posted in quite some time. Guest guest
Very little now...maybe less than 1%, that I can barely notice. > Great news !!! Happy that all is going well for you! Guest guest
No numbness now, but after 2.5 weeks, I definitely did...that takes a while to subside. I aslo had my palate split as the SARPE I had last summer expanded my palate slightly too much. But my doc said better more than less. Best of luck. > > Hi all- > > > > I have not posted in quite some time. Exactly 13 weeks ago, today, > I > > had upper/lower/genio surgery, to correct my slight under bite and > > slight assymetry. Guest guest
The photo's section is filled, but I will try to post a link. I should definitely take some more recent ones. > > > Hi all- > > > > > > I have not posted in quite some time.
