It might be a good idea, .......'s the one whose been

sick, right? (I can't seem to keep your girls straight!) or is it

? Oh my!

If has been sick, I would think that yes, it would be a good

idea to mention to her doctor about your auto-immune disease(s) and

ask for some blood work, including a Lupus panel. If she hasn't been

sick, then I'd probably cross my fingers that it doesn't

happen....and if it does.....get her on the AP like you :-)

Last year our , who was then 15 came down with mycoplasma

pneumonia (walking pneumonia).....I was in a dither, thinking that

she would surely " come down " with an auto-immune disease even though

her doctor had given her the standard 5 day rx of Zithromax......so

far, so good....no more sickness. I even posted the question to the

then " resident rheumatologist " of the rheumatic.org group.....He

pretty much said that if her immune system is normally OK then she

should recover completely. It is something, however, to keep in the

back of one's mind should she come down with any of these wonderful

symptoms.

Hope this helps :-)
