Guest guest
They're off, they're off, they're off - braces that is. I can see teeth, clean but could be cleaner - will have to see hygienist next week for a more thorough clean. Had X-rays taken first. Debanding was not the pleasantest thing in the world but bearable - lots of cracking noises, scraping and a little discomfort. I just kept my eyes shut and said ' ouch' when he'd finished. Another guy gave them a bit of a clean and then handed me the mirror. I think I'll be having a love affair with the mirror tonight. My worries about not being able to open my mouth wide enough were unfounded. There was enough room to get in with the pliers and then to take molds. Although it was a little tough keeping my jaw open - its still pretty painful on one side - there were plenty of opportunities to rest it. So now in about 10 days I go back to get the retainer fitted with a . I've come home - spoken to my eldest daughter and she hasn't even noticed! Surprise surprise. Guest guest
What I meant to say was - with a little false tooth added until I can get a bridge or implant for a missing tooth. Sue (UK)
