ortho appoinment after surgery

My OS is going to take my splint out on 3rd August & he told me to

adjust the braces on 4th August to keep the teeth in desired

position. But my ortho is out of office untill 11th August. Do you

think I can have the splint on upper teeth until 11th WITHOUT SIDE

BANDS?
