Guest guest
It amuses me and satisfies me that the list is finally discussing one of these previously unmentionable, and still difficult, topics such as how to get rid of poop. Your ideas are all very resourceful. I have the opposite problem, of course, and other than using a hose and scrub broom in each bathroom, which would be hard on the physical facilities, have come up with no easy answer other than getting on hands and knees and washing the surrounding area, including bowl, floor, walls, light fixtures, etc. Maybe someone has a milkbottle solution for me? Anyway, I want to mention that, if you do get the old-fashioned BIG flush toilet, there is a problem when you have to replace the flushing mechanism. Be sure to go to a plumbing supply house to see if they have the old-fashioned type, otherwise you will be forced to buy a low-flush flushing mechanism to put in a BIG flush toilet, and you will have to keep flushing again. Guest guest
Barbara, Those wet " Swifter " things work reasonably well around the commode. MSA " cannonballs " have been discussed previously on the list and pop up often - as well as stool softeners, laxitives, etc. We have all fought this problem, unfortunately. A bedside potty can help also as you can move it out of the way to clean up - and several women in the past recommended a vynal tablecloth under it. ) But you still have to pour the cannonballs int the commode ) Take care, Bill Werre ================================= woodford wrote: >It amuses me and satisfies me that the list is finally discussing one of >these previously unmentionable, and still difficult, topics such as how >to get rid of poop. > >Your ideas are all very resourceful.
