W >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> !! I'd be out there with a screw driver and hammer making sure their A/C never worked again. Maybe then they'd have to buy a quieter one. It's a thought. Guest guest
Hi Glenda, Well we worked on the fence some more today and the noise has been cut down quite a bit. I will still have to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed but anything for sleep. Glad you liked the newsletter but I can't take all the credit. Roy wrote a great article on , got the article by Dr. Buckner and Heidi sent the info on the Tulsa getaway. If I've forgotten someone please forgive me. Yes the next one should be on the west coast! How about Oregon, we could drive there and doesn't Roy Live in Oregon too. We could have a Zucchini Fest! I'll have some more time now to post. Hopefully it will be a while before I find a job and I'll get some rest. Famous last words, didn't I say that last time? Anyhow hope you are well and Not working too hard. Are you? Take care, Elaine Re: Elaine Wow Elaine, Sounds like you just have a wonderful neighbor! NOT!!! Hope you are able to get some sleep soon. It is really hard when you can't sleep. Sometimes the pain is easier to live with just as long as you get the sleep. Sorry to hear that you are flaring! Dog gone it anyway!! Seems like you were doing this same thing about a year ago. Thank you so much for the News letter it was great! I really enjoyed it! You really put in a lot of work on it. Wish you were coming to Okie Land. I so want to meet you. Maybe the next one we will have to have on the west coast! . ) Enjoy your newlywed life and keep us all posted on how you are doing please. Well take care and hope the neighbor thing works out. Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, Sorry you have a bad neighbour too. Believe me it's been so tempting to do something to them but unfortunately that would be wrong, but we have thought of lots of things. Like BBQing next to the a/c and filling their place with smoke. Even the manager said when we water the plants it would be too bad if the water accidentally went into the a/c unit. How about some nice fish fertilizer. Oh the thoughts! But hey what goes around comes around so fortunately it's in God's hands and I'm sure he'll deal with it. I actually feel sorry for them because they are always miserable. It's so sad. I would hate to be that unhappy. You can only pity people like that. Hope your neighbour gets happy soon. I also felt sorry for the dog having to live like that. I probably would have died too. Puppy is probably happier now. We can only put up a six foot fence , I wish it was 8 foot though. Well I guess I should go I think the BBQ is smoking!!!! Take care, Elaine Elaine Lady, you are tooo nice to your neighbor. We have one just like yours, only he's a single man. He is a pain in the you know what to. He had a big dog for the past 5 years we've lived here and not one time did he ever go out and clean up after that poor dog. The stench was awful. I couldn't have any windows open on that side of the house. We put up a big 8 foot fence just so I wouldn't have to look at the mess. Now his weeds are 8 feet high in the back and coming over the fence. The dog died here about a month ago, but now he won't mow. I really feel sorry for you having to put up with the racket with the neighbor's a/c. That's not right!! I'd be out there with a screw driver and hammer making sure their A/C never worked again. Maybe then they'd have to buy a quieter one. It's a thought. A nasty one, but oh well. Want me to come for a short visit. She is doing great resting a lot but they have taken a lot of the IV's off so she is at least on the mend. Put her in a reg. room tonight so that was a big plus. Thanks for being there Elaine and yes you are right last year this time you were worrying about working etc. and got the job not too long after you said that.LOL Lots of Love Glenda ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).Version: 6.0.265 / Virus Database: 137 - Release Date: 7/18/2001

Guest guest
Glad to hear you had some time off to spend with your sister. I didn't realise she was in hospital. Hope everything is ok. I'm not too worried this time about working. My unemployment insurance is good until January and the amount I will make from my last job will be better than some of the jobs in town. I just don't want to work my butt off for nothing anymore. Hope you are feeling well this weekend. Take care, Elaine Re: Elaine Elaine, Nope I am not working too hard at least not this weekend!LOL I had a three day weekend which has been nice so I could spend time with my sister. Guest guest
HI ELAINE I CAN SAY FOR SURE THAT ON SOME DAYS MY PAIN IS 15 OR HIGHER IF POSSIBLE. THE OTHER DAY I WAS HURTING SO BAD I TOOK BY BP AND IT WAS UP TO 185/125, AS SOON AS THE PAIN QUIT IT WENT DOWN TO NORMAL. THAT DAY I DID NOTHING BUT LAY AROUND AND SCREAM A LOT. THE NEXT WEEK THE DOC DOUBLED BY METHO FROM 10 TO 20 MGS. I HAVE ONLY DONE THAT FOR ONE WEEK SO I GUESS WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. I CAN'T TAKE A LOT OF THE PRESCRIPED STUFF FOR PAIN. THE DARVOSET AND LORASET AND TYLENOL 3 MAKE ME VERY SICK, NOT SURE WHAT ELSE TO EVEN TRY. FOR THE MOST PART REG. TYLENOL WILL WORK, BUT WHEN I HAVE A REALLY BAD DAY LIKE THE LAST ONE WAS I DO NEED SOMETHING ELSE, THATS FOR SURE. DAWN Elaine Thurber wrote: What i want to know is what can a person like me that has RP and is on the metho and pred take for pain besides tylenol that won't react with the other drugs.????? Hi Dawn, I take Empracet, It's very much like Tylenol 3, But stronger. Works ok, but pain killers don't work well on me anyhow. Can you not take Tylenol or haven't they given you a prescription pain killer yet? If they haven't prescribed you a pain killer, just kick them with 's pointing boots until they write one out. Tell them that on a scale of 1 to 10, you pain is a 15!!! Maybe they'll get the hint! Guest guest
Hi dawn, THAT DAY I DID NOTHING BUT LAY AROUND AND SCREAM A LOT. I know how that is for sure!!! THE NEXT WEEK THE DOC DOUBLED BY METHO FROM 10 TO 20 MGS. I HAVE ONLY DONE THAT FOR ONE WEEK SO I GUESS WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. It takes time for the metho to work and that is a big jump from 10 to 20. My old rhuemy wouldn't put me up over 15 and I was in terrible pain. Got a new rhuemy who listens now. He is also a connective tissue specialist and that's what cartilige is. I CAN'T TAKE A LOT OF THE PRESCRIPED STUFF FOR PAIN. THE DARVOSET AND LORASET AND TYLENOL 3 MAKE ME VERY SICK, NOT SURE WHAT ELSE TO EVEN TRY. Sounds like you don't take well to the codine in those drugs. I don't know if there is anything without the narcotic or maybe if it upsets your stomach they can give you gravol or something. I take Celebrex as well which is like ibuprophen with a stomach buffer. It works for my pain a little but pain killers don't work well for me anyhow. Other people have had better success. It also helps imflamation. It is expensive but there are similar drugs that are cheaper. Well I hope that you are having a relatively pain free day. Take care, Elaine
Guest guest
Hi Lu, I've been meaning to post some pictures to the group. Now that it's calmed down here I might get some time to do so. Hope everyone has a great time in Tulsa and take lots of pictures too. Elaine
