New England SDS/MSA Support Group Meeting

The next meeting of the Multiple System Atrophy / Shy Drager Syndrome Support Group will be held in October.

Meeting details are as follows:

Topic: We will show the "About Health" TV shows featuring Dr. Freeman, Tony Swartz-Lloyd and Rob and I. Pam Bower, whom many of you "know" from the internet support group will be our special guest at the meeting.

Directions to Meeting Site:

The room is the large conference room of the Shapiro Institute for Education and Research. The Institute's offices are on the main floor of BI's Shapiro Building (the old Mass College of Art Building), diagonally across from the Souper Salad cafe in the building's Atrium. Room # is TC1F5.

To get to the Shapiro Building on the East Campus of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center:

**From the NORTH: (Storrow Drive,Kenmore Square, Downtown,Rte 1 South, Rte 93) take Brookline Ave at Kenmore Square and drive past the old Sears Building on your right.

Cross the Riverway Park, pass Beth Israel's main entrance on your left, turn at next left onto Longwood Ave, then your immediate next left onto Binney Street.

You will see the Shapiro Center on your left. You can park beneath the Shapiro Building and take an elevator to the main floor.Turn left out of the elevator lobby into the Atrium. Pass another bank of elevators on your left, and the next left will be the Institute for Education and Research.

**From the SOUTH WEST and EAST via Route 9, take Rte 9 from the East or West and turn North onto Brookline Avenue (which begins at Rte 9). Cross the Riverway Park and continue to the first major intersection, which will be Longwood Avenue. Turn right on Longwood, then left on Binney, and you'll be at the Shapiro Building entrance.

BIDMC IS HP ACCESSIBLE; HP PARKING IS AVAILABLE NEXT TO THE ELEVATORS ON EACH FLOOR OF THE GARAGE. NO STAIRS FROM THE ENTRANCE TO THE CONFERENCE ROOM. HP RESTROOMS ARE NEARBY.

IF YOU PARK BELOW, DON'T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR TICKET WITH YOU AS YOU WILL NEED IT TO PAY FOR YOUR CAR IN THE ELEVATOR LOBBY WHEN YOU LEAVE.
