Guest guest
It's been 3 days since my upper jaw surgery and I haven't taken any pain killers. The swelling is uncomfortable and eating is hard, but I cant say I've felt any real PAIN in my jaw. Is this normal?
Guest guest
I stopped my painkillers at day 3 too. I felt no pain either and i am 3 weeks and one day from surgery and havent taken any pain meds since. Nothing is really bothering me but when its time for bed and i get a small amount of uncomfortable pressure in my jaw joints. > It's been 3 days since my upper jaw surgery and I haven't taken any > pain killers. Guest guest
Yes, it sounds normal. There isn't normally pain associated with this surgery (but lots of numbness). I was able to use childrens' tylenol for relief of the discomfort. > It's been 3 days since my upper jaw surgery and I haven't taken any > pain killers. Guest guest
Its okay - It went exactly the same for me. Not even tylenol. Sounds impossible, but it was true. Its been several weeks now and things still seem to be healing fine. From reading the posts, I suspect its the lower jaw people who have more pain. > It's been 3 days since my upper jaw surgery and I haven't taken any > pain killers. Just really numb and some discomfort from being swollen but ice helped alot.
Guest guest
I never felt jaw pain. Not even while in the hospital. And I've heard others say the same. > > It's been 3 days since my upper jaw surgery and I haven't taken > any > > pain killers.
