Midge, gee, I wish I could help, but I have never had that... I get a click

when I open my mouth, but not when swallowing... Are you having any problems

swallowing water or food.? Hope someone else can give you an answer.

Hi Group,

Is this normal, or it it RP related (maybe)? Every time I swallow,

and I do mean every time, I hear a sound. I can compare it to the

sound you hear when your car automatically locks-kind of like a

muffled 'click'. I've asked the ENT (he can't find any visible reason)

and the rheumy ( he says to ask the ENT). I hear the 'click' in both

ears most of the time, but sometimes only in the best ear-the ear with

the most hearing. Anyone else have this phenomenon? What do you think

it could be?

Thanks,

Midge

Chuck, I have this in my neck as well... Have had a few MRI's of my neck and

it showed fused vert. and some bulging discs.... They said nothing to worry

about. HA!! Guess we just live with the dirt and sand huh?
