Guest guest
I hope someone can ease my mind. About 10 days post op I got a sharp tingling feeling in my bottom lip. I knew I was going to have all these wierd feelings so I thought that it was the nerve healing. After about a week I finally started to poke around there and discovered that the pain shot from my stitch. So I tried to cut the stitch but it was too close to the gumline. I was going to go in and have the stitch removed but I ended up with a sick child and never went. It finally fell out on its own. BUT the pain is still there. I would not have a problem with this except it is pulling my lip down. When I smile that lower left side of my lip is pulled down resulting in a crooked smile. Gee if it's not my crooked teeth, it's my crooked smile. Any way, is this going to go away or are they going to have to cut me open again to fix this? Guest guest
--- I have alot of teeth throbbing, tingling, shooting shock-type pains, gums aching. I was told by my OS that this is normal secondary to the nerve trying to recover. He states its different for everyone on severity and duration. And no treatment just has to recover on its own. If it was from a stitch maybe the area got irritated? Is it infected? I probably have your OS check it out. Good luck, In orthognathicsurgerysupport , " spongebob94521 " wrote: > I hope someone can ease my mind. About 10 days post op I got a > sharp tingling feeling in my bottom lip.
