Guest guest
OK, seriously, has anyone had any luck cleaning the inside of their teeth? I am banded and can only open about 1/2 a finger. i will try my water pik tonight on low setting, but i do not have permission from my OS to do anything other than warm water rinse, salt water rinse and baby toothbrush, which i cannot get in there anyway. i read on here about hydrogen peroxide and ihave been using that even though he did not say i could. the back of my front teeth are starting to feel like cement. HELP........ (remember, i am a 7 times a day brusher normally, so i know i am hyper sensitive to this......)
Guest guest
I really wouldn't use the waterpik unless you have permission. You can still be numb on the inside of your mouth (gums, cheeks, incision sites that have not completely healed) and you could do yourself some serious damage without feeling it with the pressure of the water, even if it is on the lowest setting (which I think is fairly 'high'). I got permission and I'm very glad, but when I first started using it, I accidentely aimed it at my gum in between my SARPE gap, and started bleeding right away. That took a couple of days to heal, so I'm very careful with that thing now. Nathalie > OK, seriously, has anyone had any luck cleaning the inside of their > teeth?
