Hi All,

Ralph is still in the hospital, they are having a extremely hard time in raising his blood pressure when he is standing. Anything that anyone can recommend. I am so tired of trying to tell these different people at the hospital about ShyDrager. One of the nurses said it was wrote down Shy Dragon. I could scream. They have him on all the normal stuff and had been working somewhat, since June, but it is not now. They are trying another medicine. Please send prayers! Shirley and Ralph

Hi Shirley, A couple of suggestions. Rather than explaining Shy-Drager

over and over maybe you could print off several copies of this article from

the web.

http://www.ahealthyme.com/article/gale/100084049

Maybe tape one over his bed or attach it to his chart.

Review these articles on managing orthostatic hypotension and see if all of

there might be something in them that hasn't already been tried.

Is he being well hydrated? Water works better than anything in raising

blood pressure.

Hugs,

Pam

Hmmm... I may try to put a brochure together that we can hand out ... using

this type of info. It's something I do from time to time in my work. Might

as well use that skill here. Including how to manage some of the more

severe symptoms. I may lift wholesale and provide credit to the source

(after requesting permission from the sources).

Anyway, I do it as I can. And of course, I'll put it out to you good folks

for review.

Regards,

,

Bless your soul. I think that would be a great thing! Thanks!

Shirley

Also, please tell your wife, that it was a pleasure meeting you

both. I came with Lita a few meetings ago. Also, tell her thanks

for the information that she left me on the phone. Take Care!
