Hi Guys,

This is my first time, and there is a ton of helpful information.

I am just in the beggining of all this. I am currently in braces,

and am waiting to hear back from my paper consultation with Dr.

Arnett to see what he thinks will need to be done. I know there are

a couple of messages out there regarding Dr. Arnett, but I can't seem

to find anything in the Archive, so I was wondering if any of you

could provide me with helpful information. I haven't met him yet,

but hear he is one of the best.

Any input? Thanks so much!!!!

From what I know, he has quite a reputation as a fine surgeon. At

least one of his patients has posted enthusiastically about him, and

we've been told that he devised some of the techniques used in these

procedures.

Another member posted that his fees are substantial, and one person

found that the office was so busy that she had trouble getting some

of her questions answered. The first one, who remains enthusiastic

about the doc, replied that he'd never had such difficulties.

See what you think, do your homework, and see how you react, with any

doctor. I've heard Dr. Arnett is indeed one of the most outstanding

and able in the country. (But I'd still choose the fellow I had, if

that were my choice. Most of us feel that way about our surgeon, I

think.)

Best,

Cammie

If you'll take a few minutes, as I just did, you'll find a bunch of

references to Dr. A. on this site. You have to take the archive

search back in time, though. After you do the first batch, and it

comes up empty, click " next, " and keep going. Probably the most

useful ones will be from a fellow named stevesf_2000 or something

like that. Once you find him (perhaps in the members list) you can do

an archive search on him, or message him directly. He was a patient

of the man, and was much pleased with his work.

I found posts you may want to look at between Nos. 75694 and 77058,

and in the time period around 4/17/04 and from1/30/04 to 1/31/04.

Others on 10/22 and 10/23, both in 03.
