Guest guest
Roy, Angie and I received an email from a librarian looking for children's books on Relapsing Polychondritis. I know for a fact that there is no such book, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a book for children ranging in ages from 6-12 on autoimmune diseases. All I can find is one book listed for grades 7-12 and I'm afraid that would be beyond these children's comprehension. Any help is greatly appreciated. W , If this lady is a librarian then she should have all the resources to find the book if there is one. Wouldn't you think? I'm just curious? Guest guest
Good idea though. Maybe on down the road, we can come up with something like this, just for kids!!! W I agree, this is something we should consider doing. I started looking for something for her but I keep getting booted off tonight. lol

Guest guest
Yes, but I think she was hoping we knew something maybe "off the wall" that isn't widely distributed. Good idea though. How about we write one!!!!! I'm game if anyone else is... I'll let you know what I can find... thanks for bringing this up.. It is very important for children to know, especially if a family member has it. Hopefully if we find one it won't be too scarey. Seems like we tend to overlook the children at any age.
