4 days after and back home

Hi! Im back home now...I think people were right in saying that it

felt better to be home. I had my operation on tuesday at 3:00. It

lasted around 3 hours and i was in recovery until 8:30 that evening.

I feel ok, it aches but i have to expect that because I have my

lower jaw broken and all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. I look

swollen, but apparantly not very swollen according to all the

doctors and surgeons that have seen me, some people become very

swollen. I am a little worried about cleaning around the neck area,

as this is where my two drains were. I have had them removed and now

dried blood is all that is left. How long should I leave them until

i try and wash there? My neck seems to be a little yellow although

this could be the cleaning fluid the surgeons used on my neck. Ive

also had my splint and all bands taken off. My bite seems good and

im managing to eat well. I am returning to the orthodontist on

tuesday and bands might have to be put back on so that my bite is

100%.
