Guest guest
Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone who used glyoxide for keeping their teeth clean knew if there were side-effects, particularily to the gums and/or enamel. I have a problem keeping stains off my teeth and I have been using glyoxide on them for a few days now and it seems to be removing some of the stains. The dental hygenist last time I was there said the stains are sticking to my teeth because of bacteria in my mouth. I have tried everything though! I brush my teeth constantly, and have a rather thorough cleaning routine. I don't have any plaque or tarter buildup on my teeth at my cleanings (which are every 4 months since I got braces), just staining on the front and back of my front teeth (coffee and tea stains). I don't really want to give up my caffiene addiction as I just gave up nicotine a little over a month ago. Any info on glyoxide, or any other suggestions, would be incredibly helpful. Thanks guys! Guest guest
My ortho had me use glyoxide twice weekly, and a fluoride gel twice weekly, as well. I had peridontal troubles, and I went for cleaning every two months by my perio lady, while I was in braces. Cammie > Hi everyone!
