Buying a vehicle - notes from the Abilities Expo

Hi,

I've been reading the recent posts about buying a vehicle and want to put in a plug for the Abilities Expo. Rob and I went to the recent one in Boston and we were amazed at the variety of things there to assist people of varying disabilities. Everything from vans to wheel chairs and scooters to lifts to sports for people with disabilities. All right there to see and try. If you have an opportunity to attend this show when it is in your area, I highly recommend it. Here's the web site:

One of the things we picked up at the expo was a copy of New Mobility magazine. This publication has a wealth of information about all sorts of disability related issues and aids. They also have a web site with links to many of their advertisers - here's the link: http://www.newmobility.com/ Among the things you can find here are links to many of the auto sites.
