I think Zac did a great job on the article " SPECIAL REPORT: Synopsis

of the Chicago SDS/MSA Meeting " published in the Multiple System Atrophy

News - October 2002 issue. I hope everyone takes the time to read it. If

you somehow missed receiving a copy of the October issue please let me know.

I also wanted to pass along this great feedback I received today which is

specifically referring to Zac's article.

A reader states:

" Thank you for this amazing info about MSA.

I appreciated how parkinson disease and MSA were

distinguished in the article. Also I did not realize

that there is not a drug designated for MSA like their

is a drug designated for parkinsons.

Again, I knew that MSA was a variable disease but I

didn't realize that there were at least three types of

MSA and that a person with MSA could have symptoms

from the each of the three different types of MSA. "

If people want more information on MSA, these are my three favourite

articles:

http://www.parkinson.org/atrophy.htm

http://www.emedicine.com/neuro/topic671.htm

http://www.cmdg.org/Movement_/Parkinsons_Plus/MSA/msa.htm

If you want a really short article this one covers the main points in a

single

printed page:

There are many other articles listed in the LINKS section of our group

website:

Most of these same links are also mirrored on Charmayne's MSA/ShyDrager

Page:
