Guest guest Posted July 26, 2004 Report Share Posted July 26, 2004 Here's how I'd break my experience down: Worst day = 3 day Sleeping normally again = 5/6 day Off pain meds = day 7 (I needed to use them mostly for awful headaches) Swelling reduced 80% = Day 10ish Off Liquid Diet = 2 weeks Golfing = 2 weeks Cycling = 3 weeks Speech sounds normal again = week 5 Ortho activity begins again = week 5 Being able to eating pretty much everything again = week 5 Playing Soccer & Weight Lifting = week 6 Lastly - Nubmness/Swelling I'm at week 6 and I'd say my numbness/swelling is 90-95% gone.
