Guest guest
So I learned of some of my plans post op, regardless of wired or not...we're talking about 2-3 days hosp (as I thoiught originally) and will have several iv lines 1-fluids, 2-constant blood press monitoring, 3-incase I need blood, yes to the foley cathidor (yuck) and head bandage, ice pack and bugles--they are like trumpets that go inside your nostral for the first day or so to prevent swelling and ease breathing.... no one ever said bugles before...so anyone?? but no NG tube (nasal-gastro tube for feeding) that's good.... so yup-that's all I know now, but thought huh? BUGLES??? jo
Guest guest
Hey JO, Bugles? Nope, never heard of them but they sound like they would be useful. My second night after surgery my nose was clogged and i couldn't get much air through my wired shut mouth and it was soooo scary. Nasal spray and a humidifier helped, but it was hard to breathe.
