Sigh.

I'm not putting down anybody's lists, or efforts to share info. Of

course, the more the better. But it's mildly distressing to think how

many years ago now Miz created such a list, along with a

ccounts of folks' experiences, on the geocities site, and then to

hear that someone is mourning not having had such a list...

I sometimes write about charities for my newspaper. Have done so for

years and years. Similarly, it frustrates me when a volunteer or a

worker comes to me all fired up about sharing the group's mission.

Sometimes I do feel as though I have just been beating my head (or my

typing fingers) against a giant wall out on a back side of the garage

somewhere...

Maybe it's just Monday.

I was very graciously sent a long list of things that I might need,

however, I ended up only needing some of the things on the list.

Everyone is different for instance someone getting only lower

surgery might not need nasal spray or decongestant. I think the

more varried accounts of what people thought were necessary the

better, then one can make up thier own list. I found that every day

I was sending my hubby to the store for something different. By far

the things that saved me were Xanax and Valium. I might be the only

one here to need this so you see, my list would be different. ---

I agree, of course. I know of one young woman who had a bad bout of

dry mouth after her surgery. For her, an essential was a small squirt

bottle filled with water, which she took everywhere with her until

the dryness went away. And I haven't seen many references to dry

erase boards lately, but a while back many people found them

essential. I needed neither, but I was glad to know about them.
