Guest guest
Sigh. I'm not putting down anybody's lists, or efforts to share info. Of course, the more the better. But it's mildly distressing to think how many years ago now Miz created such a list, along with a ccounts of folks' experiences, on the geocities site, and then to hear that someone is mourning not having had such a list... I sometimes write about charities for my newspaper. Have done so for years and years. Similarly, it frustrates me when a volunteer or a worker comes to me all fired up about sharing the group's mission. Sometimes I do feel as though I have just been beating my head (or my typing fingers) against a giant wall out on a back side of the garage somewhere... Maybe it's just Monday. Guest guest
I was very graciously sent a long list of things that I might need, however, I ended up only needing some of the things on the list. Everyone is different for instance someone getting only lower surgery might not need nasal spray or decongestant. I think the more varried accounts of what people thought were necessary the better, then one can make up thier own list. I found that every day I was sending my hubby to the store for something different. By far the things that saved me were Xanax and Valium. I might be the only one here to need this so you see, my list would be different. --- In orthognathicsurgerysupport , ceast36532 wrote: > Sigh. > > I'm not putting down anybody's lists, or efforts to share info. Guest guest
I agree, of course. I know of one young woman who had a bad bout of dry mouth after her surgery. For her, an essential was a small squirt bottle filled with water, which she took everywhere with her until the dryness went away. And I haven't seen many references to dry erase boards lately, but a while back many people found them essential. I needed neither, but I was glad to know about them.
