They are also doing an autopsy at Vanderbilt. Memorial contributions to the Autonomic Research Department at Vanderbilt or to First Christian church. It was just one year ago yesterday that Mark died from this dreadful disorder and maybe it will help you to know that those of us who have lost our loved ones do know exactly how you feel right now. It is good to realize that Speedy is now happy and at peace but losing a spouse, regardless of how difficult their life was, still weighs very heavy on your heart. We remember you both from the meeting in Cleveland and we have always felt a fondness for you as a " kindred spirit' on the list. I know that in time you will find peace in the fact that Speedy is in a better place and no longer suffering, but right now I know you feel the pain and loss very acutely. My husband died more than a year ago, and I still miss him, but I am so glad he isn't struggling any more. I am sure you will miss Speedy immensely even as you are glad that his struggle is over. They say you mourn a little every day as you watch your loved one decline, and that is true, but when he is actually gone, it is still hard. I will remember you in my prayers.
