Guest guest Posted October 8, 2002 Report Share Posted October 8, 2002 Amantadine,selegenine, I want to say that I take thes drugs, since six months only, in very small dose(only100 mg d'amantadine and 5 mg selegenine, one time a day in the morning).. But, after three months, suddenly, I have, first blurred vision, with strident rays on the the left eye, with irritation and swelling of eyes. And non explained very frequent fever, shortness of breath.. Skin rash, diziness The last time, I have any notion of sleep even I a very tired ..with emotional illness. I never feel hunger...and when I eat, I have any notion of satiety.., I feel always dryness of mouth...but it's also the case before I take Amantadine and Selegenine.. I think , it's symptoms of Shy-Drager What is very hard for me, I have loss of memory, so I became very, very anxious... I check with my neurologist the 04 october, and , he says , I must stop immediately amantadine and selegenine, and, I take Rivotril ( Clonazepam) since two days. I take alphafludrocortisone (100µg a day), since one year, and I am very well with a tension increasing to 10/6 (but it's good foe me, during allmy life, I have this tension)... Since I stop amantadine,four days now, my tension decrease . But I think I must wait , becaus I stop the treatment, But I don't know if Rivotril (clonazepam) have secondary effects??
