Guest guest
I wear soft contact lens. I wore my glasses for a week after my surgery. I could have conceivably worn the lens sooner, but I saw no use because I was just lounging in the recliner.
Guest guest
Does anyone out there wear contact lenses? If so, how soon after surgery were you able/willing to mess with your lenses again? I wear the Paragon CRT lenses -- they are the Rigid lenses that you sleep in and take out during the day. They're great! BUT the effects are not permanent -- and I don't have any soft lenses or glasses that I can wear to correct my vision if I can't wear the Paragon CRT's. Will I be able to go back to wearing my lenses while I sleep within a day or two after surgery, or should I give my Eye Doc a call and get myself a pair of glasses? Thanks!! ~Jen

Guest guest
I wear hard lenses as well, but they're the old take 'em out every night variety. I do have glasses, and used those the day of surgery. But, I had my contacts back in the next morning with no problems. I slept a lot during that first day, so not having them in wasn't an issue. Guest guest
I don't know anything about the type of lenses you wear, but I wear soft contact lenses almost every day. After surgery, I wore my glasses for a week because I slept a lot and didn't see the point of putting contacts in. You may very well feel okay the day after surgery to put your contacts back in, but I think it would be good if you check with both your eye doctor and your OS for their opinions on how your vision should be handled post-op. Your eye doc should especially have some input into the matter. > Does anyone out there wear contact lenses?
