Guest guest
Hey there! (So if SpongeBob is your name, is " SquarePants " your nickname? Sorry, bad joke, I know, but I just couldn't help myself) Anyhow, I was really annoyed when I saw how conflicted my surgery times are. I swear they scraped the bottom of the barrel when they made my appointments, and I've had my surgery date booked since December '03. My surgery consult is at 1:45, Class is from 2:00 - 4:00 and my pre-op work-up is at 4:15 across the street. I voiced my concern that it didn't seem right to essentially give me only 10 minutes with the doctor before heading up to the class, but she said, they only allow 15-20 minutes for the consult with the OS, and that it would be okay to be late to the class. I explained that if other people take more time or are late to their appointments earlier in the day, that it would put them off-schedule, which they usually are, and then the OS won't even be ready to see me until 2:00 or later, and then I'll be really late, but she insisted it would be okay. She better be right, or I'll be a very unhappy camper. I don't want to miss the class. I will probably send my mom or hubby up there with a tape recorder for the first half hour if I'm still in with Dr. O'. AAAGGGHHH! As if this wasn't stressful enough. I know, know, just breath! Are you donating blood? They say they don't do that, but I get a little worried. What if they need it? If you can't tell by now, I'm a total worry wart! Well, thanks for the advice! -- > > > > > > > When the orthodontist first told me I needed the surgery > > and > > > > > that > > > > > > it > > > > > > > would cost $30,000, I freaked out.
