Skin in cheek grew over one my stitches!

I had some canker sores in my mouth but then noticed that the skin

in my cheek had grown over a stitch that was in there. I went to

the OS today and he had to cut the cheek slightly to pull the stitch

out. I had no idea that was possible. Well all i can say is that

everything is starting to feel better and all the stitches are gone

now.

So--there was a happy ending to that!

Glad you let us know. Because no way are you only one who's

experiencing this.

All these things that happen to us seem trivial to doctors and

orthodontists. But when its actually happening to YOU, when its

YOUR OWN mouth it isnt so inconsequential.

I LOVE that we have this message board.
