Guest guest
Hi Jo, I had upper jaw surgery (Leforte 1) to correct an open bite. I also splurged on a purely cosmetic genio just to improve my profile. I had braces for about 6 months, then the surgery in Oct 2003, and I am now in my 9th month of braces post surgery. Hoping to get them off in a few weeks. What is your surgery for? Try to relax...I know that is nearly impossible. I was a total basket case before my surgery. I will try to post a couple pics today on this site under Miami. Best, > > > I am just embarking on a 2 year road to a smile! Guest guest
Yeah I go from relaxed to tweaking now in 0.653 seconds--jk but it's a rollercoaster true enough. I am definitely doing uppper UP 8mm, back 2mm, and genio....MAYBE lower too...still pending (that's a part of the killer to it all...not knowing yet and I'm 9 days pre-op) oh well, waiting, hoping, chilling, freaking...all in a pre-op day!
