Guest guest
---Yikes!! My OS told me it was rare complication. I know they cut the nerve and then its suppose to regenerate. I'm post op 3 wks and I'm thankful my teeth are okay. I had achiness in my teeth for the first 2 wks. Hope all goes well and hopefully none of the other teeth have problems. Good luck! Guest guest
Thanks I was not aware that this could be a complication of ral Surgery. God i hope thats the only tooth affected. This is really depressing; After going through all that and then having damage to your teeth, especially right in the front.
Guest guest
I didn't, but I have heard of it. The one I remember most was also a couple of front teeth that died post op. It's not something I remember having happened to many people, though. I think my contract with my ortho (which didn't deal with the surgery at all) also mentioned that such can happen with basic ortho treatment. Sorry that it did. That has to be disconcerting.
